Privacy policy
How Noorie Education Foundation and Ayah Academy collect, use and protect the information you give us through this website.
Who we are
Noorie Education Foundation is a non-profit educational foundation in Gujranwala, Pakistan. It runs nooriefoundation.org and its learning wing, Ayah Academy, at ayahacademy.nooriefoundation.org. In this policy, "we" means the Foundation and Ayah Academy together.
You can contact us about your information at [email protected] or on 0301-0000550 (WhatsApp or call).
What we collect
Only what you type into a form on this website, when you choose to send it:
- Admission form: the student's name, father's or guardian's name, gender, age, phone number, village or area, previous education, chosen campus and department, and any notes.
- Service requests (health, widow and orphan support, Ilm-o-Hunar for madrasas, career counselling, visits): your name or your madrasa's name, phone number, area and the details you choose to share about your request.
- Requests for a full copy of a curriculum or book: your name, phone number and, if you give them, your email, institution and purpose.
We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. If you change the accessibility settings (text size, contrast, reading aloud), your choices are saved only in your own browser so they stay the same on your next visit. They are not sent to us.
Like every website, our web host records basic technical information when a page is requested (such as the IP address, browser type and time) to keep the site running and secure.
How we use it
To answer your request: to arrange an admission visit, to provide a health, welfare or madrasa service, to send a document you asked for, and to call or message you about it.
To keep student and service records so we can run our departments and follow up properly.
We never sell your information, and we never use it for advertising.
Where it is kept and who can see it
When you submit a form, it is saved in a private Google Sheet in the Foundation's Google account, and a short alert is emailed to the Foundation. Google provides this service to us and may store the data on its servers outside Pakistan.
If you choose to send your form on WhatsApp instead, it travels through WhatsApp under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
Only Foundation staff who handle admissions and requests can see the records.
Children
Many of our students are children. An admission form for anyone under 18 should be filled in by a parent or guardian, who confirms the details before sending.
We do not publish a photo of a child without a parent's permission. For girls' and women's departments we prefer photos of activities without faces.
How long we keep it
We keep student records for as long as the student studies with us and as long afterwards as we need them for the student's own records. Requests that did not lead to an admission or a service are deleted within 12 months. Spam and test entries are deleted as soon as we see them.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw a request at any time. Message us on WhatsApp or email us, and tell us your reference number if you have one.
Keeping it safe
The website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Forms check for spam and limit repeated sending, and form records can be opened only by the Foundation's account and the staff it shares them with.
Other websites
Videos come from YouTube's privacy-enhanced service and load only when you press play. Campus maps come from OpenStreetMap and load only when you press Show map. Links to WhatsApp and Google Maps open those services, which have their own privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
